A Thorough Process

A Process to Get You Where You Want to Go

We take the time to learn about you, your goals, and what’s important to you, so that we can be sure we’re the right team to work with you on a financial plan. That way, we can take a truly vested interest in helping you and developing a strategy that’s unique to your needs.

Breaking the Ice

A brief phone call can help us learn more about each other and talk about your finances, needs, and concerns. Our main objective is to determine if, by working together, we can help you meet your goals. Financial planning is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. By breaking the ice, we can determine if it makes sense to continue the conversation.

Getting to Know You

In our follow-up meeting, whether by phone or in person, we’ll get to know each other better and expand on the details of your finances and future goals. We’ll discuss your current plan and any concerns or fears you may have. We’ll also share our philosophy and talk to you about how we work with clients. That way, we’ll be able to determine if working with us is in your best interest.

Developing a Plan

Here’s where we’ll outline a strategy of the steps we can take to put you on a path designed to achieve your goals. This will include our recommendations for asset allocation, stock and stock option strategies, minimizing debt, insurance options, and any other areas of planning we’ve discussed.

Taking Action

Once you’ve had a chance to review the plan we’ve outlined, it’s time to set it in motion. This may include helping you adjust your cash flow to free up money for savings or reallocating assets to fit your objectives and risk tolerance. We’ll also further discuss options for life, disability, long-term care insurance, and your estate plan.

Ongoing Review

We’ll schedule regular check-ins or meet as needed, to review your progress and discuss any changes to your situation. This will allow us to outline any additional steps we need to take to help you stay focused on where you’re headed, as well as make appropriate recommendations and adjustments to keep you on track to meet your goals.
